Our trip to Barbados

When we arrived in Barbados, the island welcomed us with golden light, warm breezes and the kind of beauty that stays with you long after you leave.

Creating the music

I wrote the piano first, the memories of being in Barbados and the joy of the day shaping the melody.

Then I wrote the violin part, imagining another voice joining the story, and I had it recorded by a live musician.

Behind the illustration

Keira brought the story to life with her gentle sketches — from early ideas to the final artwork you saw.
